Four people are facing charges after a drug investigation in Ocean County.

Authorities say they began to surveil a home earlier this week and observed 36-year-old Wali Hobbs of Toms River and 34-year-old Tykequan Hollis of Newark drive to and make several brief visits to that location. 36-year-old Janet Jackson, also of Newark, left that home and entered the vehicle.

As it left the area, detectives stopped that car and all three people were placed under arrest without incident.

A court-authorized search warrant was then executed at that home and officers allegedly seized a hypodermic needle filled with heroin/fentanyl, drug paraphernalia associated with narcotics distribution, a 9mm Uzi, and a high capacity ammunition magazine.

At the home, 49-year-old Anthony Isola of Bayville was arrested.

Isola was charged with possession of heroin/fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine, possession of Xanax without a valid prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an assault weapon, and possession of a high-capacity ammunition magazine.

Hobbs and Hollis were both charged with possession of less than one-half ounce of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, and wandering to obtain or distribute a controlled dangerous substance.

Jackson was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of crack cocaine, wandering to obtain or distribute a CDS, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All four people were taken to the Ocean County Jail where they are being held pending detention hearings.

The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
