Can't get enough Christmas cheer? Good news, Six Flags Great Adventure is keeping the holidays alive!
The Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience debuted November 30 and ran Monday through Thursday evenings through December 17. Due to overwhelming demand, the season has been extended once again to include January 4 through 17. All guests are required to make a reservation at www.sixflags.com/reserve. Admission tickets for this first-ever event are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are sold per person for each night. Pets are free. More on that in a bit. Admission is also free with active Memberships and Season Passes, and reservations are required. Ticket sales are not available at the gate. The event and its live entertainment are weather permitting.
This is one of the largest holiday drive-through events in the Northeast and the only one inside a theme park. The Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience includes 12 different areas throughout the theme park filled with colorful twinkling lights, live entertainment, and festive music. Enjoy distanced greetings from beloved holiday characters decked out for the holidays, popular iconic holiday decorations, a drive-by featuring Santa’s elves, a custom soundtrack available for streaming from the park’s website, and much more.
Dogs, cats, and even a tortoise have made the trip through more than a million dazzling lights at Six Flags Great Adventure’s Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience. Now, pet parents have two additional weeks (Jan. 4 through 17) to enjoy this pet-friendly activity featuring festive holiday theming and seasonal music favorites.
AJ Nicholas. a Six Flags guest took his two dogs Tucker and Leo to Great Adventure and said:
We loved being able to enjoy the lights with our dogs from the warmth of our car. Both of our dogs were mesmerized, one dog propped up on each of our laps gazing out the window. Whenever we’re able to include our dogs in our activities, we jump at the opportunity, and so do they.
