Jenkinson’s Egg Hunt Kicks Off Spring at the Jersey Shore

I arrived early to this year's Egg Hunt on Jenkinson's Boardwalk. It is one of my favorite events of the year.

I knew as soon as I pulled into the parking lot that this year's version was going to be special. I could tell from the parking lot.

I hopped out of the car, and I could feel the buzz from the visitors who were already there. The kids were excited, the parents were smiling, and one of our favorite Jersey Shore Spring traditions had arrived.

Kicking Off Spring 2026 At Jenkinson's

I was honored to be the person to kick off the Hunt once again this year, and as I made my way to my perch to kick off the Hunt, I was amazed at the sheer number of happy families in attendance.

You can tell that the residents of New Jersey, and especially those at the Jersey Shore, can't wait to put the wicked winter of 2026 in the rear-view mirror and get our favorite seasons started.

As for the Egg Hunt itself, the kids had a great time, and families all over the Garden State continued a great Jersey Shore tradition we have enjoyed for generations.

And now we all get ready for another Jersey Shore Spring tradition. This coming Sunday, April 5th, at 1:00 PM is the annual Jenkinson's Easter Parade.
