Jersey Shore Events To Keep You Busy This Weekend
Friday night grab some friends, a couple of blankets and some snacks. It’s Halloween Movie Night at Riverside Gardens Park in Red Bank, featuring “Hotel Transylvania.”
Tavernfest hosted by the Monmouth County Historical Association happens this Friday at the Allen House in Shrewsbury. Partygoers can enjoy Colonial-era music, a buffet dinner by Local Smoke BBQ, with a variety of spirits including local craft ale from Carton Brewing, wine from Rumson Wine and Spirits, and signature libations from Laird’s Distillery.
Friday and Saturday, enjoy an Evening with Edgar Allen Poe at the Historic Village at Allaire in Wall. An evening of Edgar Allen Poe’s classic stories.
Saturday, Brick Township’s Fall Fest at Windward Beach Park with food trucks, a beer and wine garden, games, inflatables, a maze, fire pits, fireworks and more.
Free Museum Day happens Saturday at the Monmouth Museum on Brookdale’s Lincroft Campus with activities throughout the day. 10 AM to 5 PM.
Saturday the Atlantic Highlands Historical Society presents a special screening of 1979’s cult classic horror film “Don’t Go in the House” filmed at the Strauss Mansion that was actually banned in some countries… 7 PM.
The 5th Annual Belmar Kite Festival takes place Sunday at 2nd & 3rd Avenue beaches from 11 Am to 4 PM. A free, family-friendly event.
Sunday join our very own Lou Russo as he hosts the 3rd Annual Women That Rock event at Asbury Park's Convention Hall. The day is designed to help women connect with and celebrate their full potential through inspiring words, experimental activities, and by honoring women who rock in our community. Sunday it’s Thompson Park Day at Thompson Park in Lincroft with all kinds of fun including mini golf, a photo booth, canoeing, entertainment, fall festival games, zany zombies, strut your mutt and more. Free admission and free parking 11 Am to 5 PM.
