A one-car crash on Aldrich Road in Howell early yesterday seriously injured a 23-year old driver. The driver was flown to a hospital. A portion of the road was closed for several hours.

A former Red Bank Regional High School substitute teacher and coach is accused of having sex with a 16-year old girl in his home. 37-year old Darnell Lewis resigned in June when he was arrested. He was indicted Friday on sexual assault and child endangerment charges.

Parents in the Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District who board buses without permission risk having their child being banned from the bus. That warning from the Superintendent after a parent violated the policy last week.
