If you are in need of a job, I think we have the place to apply.

Target just made it official that all employees will make at least $13.00/hr starting this June.

But that is not all...the nationwide retailer also announced that they plan on raising their minimum wage to $15.00/hr by the end of 2020 -- basically fast tracking the recently approved plan to raise the minimum wage to $15.00/hr by 2024 for all of New Jersey. (Your move Murphy...)

But that is not exactly the reason Target is doing this.

It has become a competition between Target, Walmart, and Amazon of who can have the most appealing minimum wage as they compete for workers.

Amazon just recently announced that all employees will receive at least $15/hr starting in November.

Considering that New Jersey's current federal minimum wage is only $7.25 an hour, these numbers are rather appealing.

So basically the state is not going to reach the $15.00/hr minimum wage until 2024. Looks like Target, Walmart, and Amazon are going to be employing nearly everyone with that kind of news. Are you next?
