Jillian Michaels appeared on NBC's Today Show to talk about motherhood, childhood obesity, and more.

She made a surprising announcement about 'The Biggest Loser.'

After leaving the show last year, Michaels will return as a trainer for the next season of the show, which airs in January.

This season will be the first time that teenagers will be featured on the show.

Michaels said each team will have one obese teen on it, who will not be up for elimination, and will not be weighed in on the show.

She says the teens will not be treated the same way as the other contestants, with the focus for them being more on health and being active than numerical weight loss.

She added that the trainers will not be as hard on the kids. That will be a much different side to Michaels, who is known for her tough training methods.

This could also be attributed to her latest role as a mother, which she says has been 'an incredible ride.'

I'll be glad to see Jillian back in the fold as a trainer alongside Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince. The show is certainly missing something without her.

Do you think it's wrong for teens to be a part of 'The Biggest Loser'?
