JK Rowling Releasing New Story & Your Kid Can Illustrate The Book

Well isn't this lovely news to hear after a long holiday weekend.

JK Rowling has announced that she will be publishing a brand new, standalone fairytale called The Ickabog.

And no....it is not a Harry Potter spin-off.

In a series of tweets, Rowling reveals that she wrote this story years ago but has just recently started to revise the manuscript.

The Ickabog. The story will be available on a website that will be launched shortly. Starting today at 3:00 PM, a chapter or two will be published every weekday and it will last until July 10th.

Rowling won't be personally judging the competition but if parents post artwork using the hashtag #TheIckabog, she can like, comment and retweet the artwork that she does see.
