Coming up next month is an event that I've been proud to be a part of for the last 3 years, the annual Mary's Place by the Sea Walk-a-thon!

It's an incredible local charity helping women with cancer, and I'd love to have people join my team for this year's Walk!

Mary's Place by the Sea is a 501(c)3 non-profit respite in Ocean Grove where women battling cancer can stay overnight, and get traditional and holistic services like nutritional counseling, art therapy, one-on-one counseling, oncological massage, reiki treatments, and so much more.

It's totally free for the guests, who can stay for up to three days, and attempt to heal their bodies both physically AND mentally.

The charity is expanding so much that their current facility just can't handle it, and so they are building a brand new, handicap-accessible home around the corner from their current location.

The Walk-a-thon serves as the biggest fundraiser of the year, to not only help build the new home, but also to pay for the services during their stay.

Walk Details

This year's event will take place in a new location on Saturday, May 9th near the Boardwalk Pavilion in Ocean Grove. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the walk kicks off at noon.

It's $35 for adults, $20 for kids aged 10-17. (If you pre-register, you'll get a free t-shirt, and all participants will get lunch after the walk!)

There's always a ton of great vendors, and it's an all-around amazing day raising money for a fabulous cause.

I'll be emceeing the event as always, and the Point Crew will be on hand playing games for the chance to win prizes!

If you're interested in joining the cause, I'd love to have you on the Point team, which you can join by clicking HERE.
