Julianne Moore’s Emmy Dress – Hit or Miss?

Julianne Moore has become one of the most talked about people from last night's Emmy Awards...partially because of her award and her acceptance speech, but mostly because of her dress:

Moore rocked a chartreuse (men, read: bright, greenish yellow) full-sleeved Raf Simons for Christian Dior gown with a fitted bodice and full skirt.

The color was a trend of the night, with Claire Danes and Julie Bowen wearing similarly-hued dresses.

PopCrush put her on their list of worst-dressed, while several lists (CBS, Entertainmentwise) praised the look.

I don't love it. I think the bright color is a nice change, and I understand balancing that boldness with the full sleeves, but I think a little skin would have helped make it less frumpy and more fun.
