You’re Not Alone! Most New Jerseyans Have A Junk Drawer Like This
What's In Your Junk Drawer?
I would venture to guess that almost everyone in New Jersey has one!

I just took a look at my junk drawer, the first drawer to the left of my oven, and found a bunch of random stuff. Scissors, a deck of cards, a highlighter, pens, written recipes, old takeout menus, and Post-it notes are just some of the items in there.
I also found a pack of gum, which I was very happy about! Even though I'm not exactly sure how long it's been in there.

The Truth About Our Junk Drawers
Turns out, according to a recent study by Junk King, 95% of Americans admit to having at least one junk drawer in their home, with the kitchen being the #1 location, followed by a drawer in the bedroom.
Another key takeaway from the study is that 25% of people say their junk drawer is one of chaos, which is exactly how I would describe mine. There's definitely no organization to it, so I was very happy to hear that it's the same for one in four people.
Maine has the most stuff in there, with 73 items, while Texas has the least, with only 41 items.
Pens and pencils, batteries, and tape are the top items most people have in their junk drawer, with the average number of items in a New Jersey junk drawer being 46.
For sure, a beach badge is definilety one of those items!
