Keep Your Kids Safe With This Self Defense Workshop

Ocean County Prosecutor's Office sponsored its first of at least two self-defense classes on May 12 at Girl Fight in Toms River. (OCPO)

On Saturday, August 25th, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office and GIRL FIGHT - Empowering Women Thru Martial Arts & Fitness will be hosting a Kid Focused Self-Defense Workshop!

The class is going to be held at 1800 Lakewood Road from 10:00 AM from 11:30 AM but is only suitable for kids who are 7 years and older.

It is the perfect opportunity to give your kids the tools and the knowledge that they need to stay safe!

This experience will taught by NJ Martial Famer & former WKA Champ, Prairie Rugilo, who will offer an interactive experience which includes an introduction to personal courage, becoming their own hero to prevent bullying by conflict resolution, developing their voice to establish personal boundaries and hand to hand & ground defense strategies.
