I will always be smiling when revealing the news that a veteran won big from the New Jersey Lottery.

They have fought hard to protect us and this win is well-deserved.

The name of the Korean War veteran is Julius Borrus and he is from Little Silver. He just matched four out of the five white-ball numbers in a recent Powerball drawing which means he just raked in $100,000.

This news comes one decade after Borrus won a Jersey Cash 5 jackpot -- so glad good luck like this is being given to one of our veterans.

And this is kind of funny. When he brought the winning ticket to a family-owned pharmacy with the winning ticket, the clerk said," I don't think we have enough for your here!"

Julius says he plans on paying off credit card bills, traveling to London and then invest the rest of his winnings.  Smart move.
