Local Community Shows Support For Those With Cancer

The Wall Intermediate School, as well as a local frozen yogurt shop, is raising money today for the American Cancer Society. And you can join in.

Students and staff came up with an idea called "Caps for Cancer". So today, students and faculty made donations to the American Cancer Society  and are wearing a hat to school today to show their support. They have also received a cancer support sticker.

And, to show his support, the owner of OMG Yogurt in Wall (Rt. 35, Sea Girt), who has pancreatic cancer, says that anyone in the area who shows up today with a cancer symbol, be it pin, cap, sticker, or shirt, will be told that a portion of their purchase will be donated to the Caps For Cancer fund and American Cancer Society.
