Every Jersey Shore Event You Need To Care About This Memorial Day Weekend
Are the kids ready for some summertime fun at the Jersey Shore? Wednesday night, kick off the holiday weekend at the Asbury Park Summer Kick Off Carnival in Bradley Park. The carnival runs Wednesday night through Memorial Day on Monday.
21 and over? Start your holiday weekend on Thursday night with some tequila. The Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank hosts a Patron Tequila Tasting on the Promenade starting at 6 p.m.
Friday night, warm up to the weekend with a Bon Fire on the Beach in Asbury Park at 7 p.m. on Sunset Beach.
Bradley Beach Memorial Day Fest boasts 3 days of fun with over one mile of Food Trucks/Vendors, a beer and wine tent, activities for the kids, live entertainment, a parade on Saturday (10 a.m.) and more. The fest takes place Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Cheer on thousands of runners (and me) on Saturday as the annual Spring Lake 5 Mile run steps off at 8:30 a.m.
Alligator burger anyone? The Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival returns to Monmouth Park for Memorial Day Weekend. With over 40 unique food trucks to choose from, live music and expanded festival space, family and friends will enjoy festival favorites like ocean-fresh lobster rolls, savory empanadas, ice-cold lemonade and more. Family Fun Days are on Saturday and Sunday with free pony rides, face painting, clowns and more.
Saturday it’s the Garden State Comic Fest: Great Adventure Edition, a fun-filled mini-con from 12 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 27. Help kick off Super Hero Summer with comics, collectibles, artists and some of the best DC Comics cosplay around, all set with the backdrop of DC Comics themed roller coasters.
It's that time of year again for the Jersey Shore Dream Center's annual KICK OFF TO SUMMER Memorial Day Community BBQ! This year it will be taking place on Saturday, May 27th from 12-3 p.m., on Borden Avenue in Asbury Park. There will be FREE BBQ with all the fixins, games, face painting and much much more! Come out to volunteer, enjoy the BBQ and just hang out. Get to know your neighbors!

Have a thing for Paleontology? Sunday it’s a Community Fossil Hunt at 11 a.m. Calling all amateur paleontologists! Meet at the Poricy Park Nature Center for a short orientation before traveling to the fossil beds. An experienced guide will provide you with a trowel and sifter, as well as help you identify your treasures.
Art in the Park is Sunday, May 28th from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Brighton Avenue & West End Park in Long Branch, rain-or-shine. Enjoy the day strolling through West End visiting booths full of artistic creations made by local artists!
Memorial Day Breakfast Bingo is back at Paul’s Tavern in Lake Como, Sunday starting at noon.
Fireworks
Sunday night on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, 9 p.m. Want a birds-eye view? Then check out the Paramount Mezzanine Room.
Stay for a free concert Sunday night immediately following the fireworks on the boardwalk in Asbury Park. Remember Jones is a 12 piece band, playing at Langosta Lounge on the boards in Asbury Park.
