MISSING: Asbury Man Suffering From Mental Illness

ASBURY PARK — Police need your help finding a man that is suffering from severe mental illness and is believed to have not been taking his medication.

George Bland disappeared on Monday, July 15th and has not been seen since.

Bland suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and is required to take certain medicines to curb the effects.

He is known to frequent the beachfront, Cookman Ave, Seventh Ave, and Eighth Ave.

If you happen to see Bland, you are urged not to approach him and to call the Asbury Park Police Department at 732-774-1300 immediately.
