Monmouth County ‘American Ninja Warrior’ Superfan to Compete
It's amazing how skilled and athletic the competitors on NBC's 'American Ninja Warrior' are. One this season's contestants is a Monmouth County teacher.
33-year-old Nick Mancheno of Tinton Falls is a technology teacher at Point Road School in Little Silver. How into this show is Nick? He's got a Ninja obstacle course that he designed and built himself right in his backyard. Nick was originally supposed to compete on Season 9 of American Ninja Warrior, but he suffered a calf and Achilles tendon injury and dislocated shoulder that sidelined him.
Nick told NJ Advanced Media that thanks to his family, students, and physical therapists, he's ready to take on the Ninja course.
Take one look at the video Nick submitted to be on the show and you'll see this guy is in it to win it.
Good luck to Monmouth County's own "First Grade Ninja," Nick Mancheno!
