The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners has announced the fun contest is back. It's the second annual snowplow naming contest.

How To Name A Monmouth County Snowplow

The contest is open to 5th graders in Monmouth County. Here is everything you'll need to know if the kids want to participate in a press release issued by the Monmouth County Department of Public Information.

Submissions will be accepted from November 1st through November 30th.

Only 5th graders in Monmouth County are eligible.

Every entrant must submit a letter explaining the name they chose and how to stay safe during a snowstorm.

All the entries last year were amazing, including the winners " Snow Force 1" and "Fast and the Flurrious". The contest is hosted by the Monmouth County Board Of County Commissioners.

I started thinking about what would be some good names, and since I don't qualify to enter, I'm going to spare you my suggestions, but this is a fun exercise to do with the kids.
