The Shore's Greatest Stretch is going even bigger this year with a ton of events and activities right out of the gate (pun intended) on Opening Day.

Here's what to look forward to this season!

Let's dive into some of my favorites.

The Food Truck Festival is #1 (duh.) This is one of the biggest assemblies of food trucks in New Jersey. The event spans all three days of Memorial Day Weekend starting May 25. These are just SOME of the participating food trucks:

Ann's Catering, Bites & Bowls, Chimney Cake Factory, Cold Stone Creamery, Dags Dippers, Dellano's Food Service, Dogs Gone Wild, El Lechon de Negron, Empanada Guy, Empanada Monster, Enzo's Pizza, Farm To Truck, Five Sisters Food Co., Four Boys Concessions, Good Food=Good Mood, House of Cupcakes, Joe Smoke Bar-B-Que, Luigi's Ice Cream, Mary, The Queen of Pork, Max's Famous Hot Dogs, PaperMill Fresh Asian Kitchen, Playa Bowls, Pompier Catering "Pierogi Flats", Red Hook Lobster Pound, Rolling Pita, Scuba and the Beast, Shore Good Eats N' Treats, Star of the Sea Seafood, Tacoholics, Thai Food Addict, The Little Sicilian Riceballs, Tony's Italian Sausage, Torta Truck! Woah!

The Wine & Chocolate Festival pairs the best of both worlds for an entire weekend, June 22 & 23. Sample from Villari Vineyards, Valenzano Winery, Plagido’s Winery, DiMatteo Vineyards, Wagonhouse Winery, Cedar Rose Vineyards, just to mention a few.

Haskell Day is the biggest party of the summer. This year it's on Saturday, July 20. Dress to impress and take a walk down their red carpet for photo ops, plus have a chance to be named Haskell’s Best Dressed Couple!

Those are just a few of my favorite events, but you can't go wrong all season long. Family Fun Days are every Sunday starting Memorial Day Weekend with pony rides, face painters, clowns, and a bounce house for the kids.

Also, play a round at Blueglass Mini Golf!

Don't forget to check out Monmouth Park's newest event, A Taste of New Orleans on Saturday, August 10! Let the good times roll and enjoy a variety of delicious creole food such as beignets and shrimp Po’boys. Listen to the sounds of New Orleans with live music from VooDudes.
