Monmouth Service Area Stops Selling Gas

If you regularly get gas while traveling along the Parkway, you may want to plan ahead.

The Garden State Parkway Monmouth Service Area will not sell fuel for about the next two months, as Sunoco upgrades the gas station.

The rest stop is located just north of exit 98.

The project, like the one at the Cheesequake Service Area in October, will upgrade pipes, dispensers, asphalt and other things.

It is expected to be finished in mid-May.

It's usually cheaper to get gas before you get on the Parkway anyway.
