Moorestown man killed in Ocean Township crash

A 20 year old Monmouth University student from Moorestown was killed when the car he was a passenger in veered off the road and struck multiple things including a tree.

Dane Fante was pronounced dead at Monmouth Medical Center at 3:24 AM. The driver of the 2006 Audi A8, 21 year old Jose Rivera, of Lyndhurst, was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Rivera is also a student at Monmouth University.
