Spoiler alert. As annoying as the New Jersey mosquito population is, it turns out that's not the most numerous bug in our state. It's the wood-boring beetle, according to Forbes Home.
So, if you were going to vote for the Spotted Lantern Fly, you would be incorrect, although these destructive creatures are no fun to have around.

The one that surprised me the most was the carpenter ant. I see them everywhere. If we have more wood-boring beetles, then we have a lot of wood-boring beetles.
