‘MTV: Unplugged’ Reboot Features Jersey Musician
Since it premiered in 1989, 'MTV: Unplugged' has produced some unforgettable performances.
From Nirvana's "Come As You Are"
to Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know."
Recently, songwriter, lead singer of Bleachers, and Jersey native Jack Antonoff made a special appearance in Asbury Park. He strolled the boardwalk, and eventually landed at Stone Pony where he put on a private performance.
We now know the main reason Jack was in AP. He was filming a spot for the upcoming reboot of 'MTV: Unplugged.' You'll see Jack featured on the September 15 episode of the show alongside Lorde and Carly Rae Jepsen who he's written hit songs for.
Watch our sit-down with Jack at Stone Pony the day he filmed for MTV. He talks about Asbury Park and his upcoming Shadow of the City music festival.
