MVC Will Now Remain Closed Until At Least Memorial Day
Just an FYI: New Jersey's Motor Vehicle Commission just announced that they will be remaining closed until at least Memorial Day.
There was chatter that the MVC would reopen sometime next but clearly, that is no longer the case.
This also means that all agency, road testing and inspection facilities will remain closed as well.
Customers can use online services for most driver license renewals, non-drive IDS and registrations. You also have the option to change your address, pay fees and more online as well.
Keep in mind that in March, there was a two-month expiration date extension that will last through May for all driver's licenses, registrations and inspection stickers.
Keep in mind that public officials know the situation with the MVC so if there is something that you need done that cannot be done online, law enforcement is aware of it.
I know it isnt fun to have a visit to MVC hanging over your head but the public's safety is too important. Don't worry....all of your MVC-related issues will be solved before you know it.
