My family has never had such an interactive and FUN time having dinner. We had the BEST time. It's like having dinner, plus a show, plus an activity that everyone participates in -- all at once! So festive :)

We relaxed together over a lovely 4-course, tantalizing meal. The conversation was wonderful because my teen boys were having such a great time that they PUT DOWN THEIR PHONES!  We had so much food that we were all completely satisfied (okay, maybe we overindulged just a tad!) and walked out of there with some memories that we will never forget.

We loved our server (Jackie you are the best of the best!) especially watching her mix some of the delicious pots that she brought to the table. She put on quite a show of preparing everything and we totally enjoyed it...right up until the sizzle and sparks at the end of our meal with the Bananas Foster dessert pot (more on the desserts later.) And since it was our first time participating in the entire experience, Jackie 'coached' us on how to dip and cook.

The Fondue pots full of our favorite cheeses was an absolutely incredible first course of melty cheeses and endless food treats to dip -- we also chose to include the special pretzels and rosemary fries that they make fresh on premises because who doesn't love fries dipped in fondue cheese!. (Grapes dipped in the Bacon & Brie cheese fondue is  entirely worth trying.) Also excellent was the Quattro Fromaggio cheesy fondue...especially with the bread and veggies!

I also loved my hand-crafted cocktail -- the Love Martini. I could taste the fresh ingredients in that gorgeous glass of love!

For our second course three of us had different salads that were all incredible. I loved The Melting Pot House salad with their delicious homemade dressing. The California Salad was delightful. The Strawberry and Fig salad was wonderful. And Christopher devoured the Chimichurri Steak and Bean soup.

Then came the third course, where we chose, between four of us, a variety of menu items so that we could share a feast of an astonishing variety!

From duck to lobster, the most incredible Sriracha Lime shrimp to Jalepeno Filet Mignon, from the mouth-watering Sesame-Crusted Tuna to Herb-Crusted chicken, to pot stickers, and ravioli, we loved being hands-on and choosing our cooking styles. We chose the cast iron grill and Bourguigonne-styles . But if you don't want to cook your own dinner, they have incredible dishes that they will cook for you, including Braised Short Ribs, Chicken & Waffles and Teriyaki Ginger Salmon.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand then: DESSERT!!!!

No one, and I mean NO ONE does chocolate like The Melting Pot. I had to have a pot of dark chocolate as one choice, and I let my family fight over choosing the other pot (they decided on the Bananas Foster with white chocolate and Dulce de Leche and Caramel Toffee Crunch) and the food items we got to dip included everything from berries and pineapple to marshmallows, waffles, brownies and blondies....and the special dip items we chose were cheesecake and cream puffs to dip in that incredible chocolate! I mean....WOW!!!!!

Whether you're up for a nice, leisurely, filling 4-course meal, or if you just want to take advantage of the cheese and chocolate Fondue; if you're looking for a cool, hip place for 'Best in Glass' hand-crafted cocktails to share with a date or for a Girl's Night Out, The Melting Pot in Red Bank always deserves a place on the top of your list!

As an added bonus, The Melting Pot in Red  Bank (located inside The Galleria at the corner of West Front St. and Bridge Ave.) has FREE PARKING and plenty of it! If you have been to Red Bank, you realize what a hot commodity THAT is!

And have you heard they offer weekend brunch?! I am totally going back to try that soon...stay tuned for another review!
