My Favorite View from a Jersey Shore Restaurant
Every summer I come to this restaurant at often as I can because there is no better dining view!
Sure I love the food at the Wharfside in Point Pleasant Beach....but it's the view from dining on the restaurant's back deck that can't be beat.
You get to watch the giant fishing boats navigate through the Manasquan River, and, when it's low-tide, you get to watch pleasure boats and jet skis pull right up to the sandbar and let their dogs run in and out of the water.
At this restaurant I also love, love, love the fritters that you get in the bread bowl that comes to the table....they are so good that I always ask for more! The fresh seafood choices are delicious at the Wharfside and I adore their lobster bisque.
The Wharfside Patio Bar next door has the same view if you just want to drink and see a band, rather than dine in a more luxurious atmosphere.
I will also give an 'honorable mention' for the view to the window booths inside The Shrimp Box (they have a small outdoor patio, too) and the back deck of Red's Lobster Pot which are also in the same area on the water in Pt. Beach. But the photos you are seeing here tell the story: Jack Baker's Wharfside's view rules!
