I love getting the opportunity to visit local schools, especially on 'Read Across America' day, and I had that opportunity this past Friday when I went to the Emma Havens Young School in Brick and visited Miss Holman's 5th grade class. The children were great and asked awesome questions. They also seemed to get a kick out of the way Liz and I make fun of each other.

So, when they asked me what Liz looks like, I thought it would be a good opportunity to head up to the board and show my artistic ability. Little by little, as my portrait of Liz emerged, it turned into something unexpected, as is the case with many great pieces of art. When it was complete, I figured I better let Liz in on the results. The kids got a big kick out of it and, as usual, Liz was a good sport!
