New Business Replaces Modell's in Toms River

Remember the Modell's Sporting Goods store on Route 37 in Toms River? That is now a Spirit Halloween! These stores always randomly pop up every October and they are the perfect one stop shop for all things Halloween. I was able to stop by the store yesterday and I was impressed with the selection they had to offer. It's great for all ages! They have everything from plus-size Halloween costumes to toddler costumes. In addition, they have plenty of Halloween decorations and party supplies. THE BEST PART... Spirit Halloween is all about the Spirit of Children! This is a program that brings Halloween celebrations to children hospitals each October and raises money for many child life departments across North America. In the last 14 years, Spirit of Children has raised over $65 million! After you purchase something at the Spirit Halloween in Toms River, they are asking for donations to the Child Life program at Hackensack Meridian Children's Health! The money raised will help purchase computers, TVs sensory equipment and distraction toys to providing additional Child Life staff and classes. Also, the money raised is used to create playrooms for art, music, pet and aquatic therapies. The goal is for the children to receive the best care and resources when they are at the hospital!
