Throughout the years, experts have varied on which town they chose as the shining light in New Jersey.

New Jersey Residents Vote For Our Favorite Town

More often than not the verdict puts the spotlight on Cape May, a town that deserves to be honored as frequently as possible.

It hasn't always been Cape May, though. Recently Stone Harbor was named one of the best East Coast destinations in America.

This time around, however, we asked you, the residents of the Garden State, to name your favorite New Jersey town.

Which Town Did You Choose As New Jersey's Best?

We had a very varied list to look through. Over 25 towns received votes, but the town that got the most votes is a quiet little Monmouth County town.

Big congratulations to Ocean Grove, which received more votes than any other New Jersey town in our little unscientific poll.

While you are in Ocean Grove, please visit the many amazing restaurants, the beautiful beach and boardwalk, the stunning Victorian homes, and of course, the Great Auditorium.

Other towns that received a lot of votes included Wildwood, Jersey City, and, yes, Cape May.
