The World Population Review published a study ranking each state based on the friendliness of its residents.

What Is New Jersey's Friendliness Ranking?

The ranking for New Jersey is going to disappoint Garden State residents who believe in the people of our state.

According to the report, New Jersey ranks 46th. The study used several criteria to determine friendliness.

Another factor is tipping, and I think New Jersey is full of great tippers. The study reports that our average tip was just north of 19%, which is not bad.

The state with the friendliest residents is Minnesota, and the least friendly is New York, one of only 4 states with a lower ranking than the Garden State.
