New Jersey's Halloween Spirit Falls Short Of Other States

According to a new survey, we're not even in the top 10, with even more states ahead of us, including Alabama, California, Iowa, New Hampshire, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Wyoming.

So, where does New Jersey fall on the list of states that celebrate Halloween the most?

According to the survey, we tend to dedicate nearly a month to planning and perfecting our costumes, but we only rank a 3.88 out of 5 when it comes to how much we love Halloween overall.

I guess that's not too bad.

According to the results, the average person polled says they purchase 4 and a half bags of candy each season, which in some years is not enough in my neighborhood. There were so many kids out last year, we ran out of candy, and I had to run out real quick to get more!

We do tend to spend a lot of money when it comes to Halloween festivities, with the average amount of money of $420.

And if you're buying 4.5 bags, it adds up, but I wouldn't waste money on the candy below. Apparently, it's the worst in New Jersey!
