If you are a pet owner in New Jersey, you are not going to agree with the results of a study naming the states with the most pampered pets.

Which States Have The Most Pampered Pets?

We have all seen it with our own eyes. New Jersey residents treat their pets better than most humans, and often better than their spouses, so the results of a recent study are going to bewilder you.

The study, reported at Trusted House Sitters, ranked the top states in America for pampering their pets, and the first thing that surprised me was that the Garden State is not at #1 on the list.

If there is a state that pampers Luna, Milo, and Bear more than we do, it's news to us in New Jersey.

The Most Pampered Pets Live In This State

The state the study names as the top pet-pampering state is Colorado, and with all due respect to our friends there, we respectfully disagree.

If you think New Jersey should be at the top of the list, brace yourself for sheer disappointment. The list ranks the top 15 states for pet pampering, and New Jersey is not on it... at all.
