We all want to keep our distance from each other. Keeping six feet away from people is only possible when you know where the other people are, and a new feature on the New Jersey Transit app can tell you.

If you are concerned about taking public transportation because you just don't know how crowded the bus or train you want to take will be, New Jersey Transit now has a tool on their app that will tell you that information to help you make your decision.

The way it works, according to nj.com, is there is a color coded system that tells you the level of crowds on a bus or train. Red means heavy, yellow is for medium congestion, and green lets you know the crowds are light on that bus or train.

There are so  many things in our world that are completely unpredictable right now, making it hard to make decisions you are comfortable with for you and your family. So having some information gives you another tool in your arsenal to help combat the virus.

Here is another great example of all of us trying to best navigate through everything 2020 has thrown at us, and using information available to us and creativity to be able to make good and healthy decisions.

Not everyone feels the same about crowds and health risks. That is certainly not breaking news, but the more we know, the more we can make decisions for the ones we love that we are comfortable with.

If you want more information, you can visit the New Jersey Transit website.
