It's hot, it's cold, it's raining, it's snowing. Oh, and throw in a hurricane or tornado on the side.

There's one question that I have been asking that I am sure you are wondering yourself:

When will the warmer weather arrive, and be here to stay?

The first part of this answer is one you won't be happy with.

According to NJ.com, for the remainder of April and the first half of May, this inconsistent weather trend is expected to continue.

That's right. Get ready for hot, cold, high, low, dry and wet.

According to Steven DiMartino, head of NY/NJ/PA Weather via NJ.com, the weather conditions will, "continue [to be] unsettled, with periods of very warm and chilly conditions [and] back-door cold fronts will be a heavy theme.”

Ugh. I am so over these cold fronts and needing my winter jacket.

You will also need an umbrella handy because this next month will be filled an above-average amount of precipitation.

Seriously? Rain ruins my hair. It tights up my joints and muscles. I am NOT a happy camper.

But what about after May 15th?

Unfortunately, Steve couldn't offer up too much other concrete information except that temperatures will probably be, "below normal for sustained stretches, especially in northeastern New Jersey, due to maritime air masses," according to NJ.com.

But as far as when temperatures will warm up and stay there, your guess is as good as mine.

If you are thinking to yourself: "Weather professionals are wrong all the time! Maybe they are wrong now!"

Unfortunately, the Climate Prediction Center predicted the same weather pattern.

Things will be all over the place for the next month and after that, no one can tell when consistent warm weather is in our future.

I know it is not the answer you or I was looking for but silver lining, at least we are not in the single digits! *Knock on wood*

And little fun fact, did you know there is a volcano in New Jersey?

No, I'm not kidding. Take a look:
