Well, actually, while there are some unusual traditions in some states, like Santa surfing in California. or the ice climbing festival in Montana, the one Insider chose for New Jersey, according to msn.com, is not really unusual at all.
The choice for the Garden State is Storybook Land in Little Egg Harbor, a great park for your whole family to celebrate this magical time of year. and they've been a New Jersey tradition since 1955.
There are rides and food and lots of fun, and beginning December 6th, they'll be open every day. You can get a full schedule and lots more information at the Storybook Land website.
New Jersey does not have unusual things like Santa rowing across a lake like he does in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania or the decoration of the Big Pecan Tree in Dallas, Texas, but we do have Storybook Land!
