New Jersey: 9 Ways Nicole Is Still Different After Two Major Spine Surgeries
First, I want to take this time to thank everyone who has supported me during this turbulent recovery.
You all have been amazing and it truly does put a smile on my face when I think about all of the gestures that have been made.
Not sure what I'm referring to? Here is the run down.
But long story short: I had two major spine surgeries in the second half of 2021 and am still recovering.
This, by far, has been the toughest thing I have ever been through both physically and mentally.
I am beyond frustrated that I am still as limited as I am and that my life is still so different.
But I know there are many others out there who are in the process of coming back from a major surgery of their own and (not to sound cheesy but) you must know that you are not alone.
It takes such a toll on your body and it takes time to get back to your full self.
How do I still feel different you ask?
In quite a few ways:

Again, thank you for the support and thank you for reading if you've made it with me this far.
I know it is all part of the process but man, am I over it.
But here is a photo of the best nurse I could ever find.
If you are in the middle of a recovery of any time, I wish you nothing but the best.
Here is some advice I should probably give to myself: be kind to yourself because your body is doing the best it can.
