If you live in New Jersey, you know when we land near the top of a survey, it's usually not good news. This survey is no exception.

When it comes to driving, New Jersey ranks in the top 5 worst states in America, according to yahoo.com. The survey included factors like theft rate, insurance rates, gas prices,  average commutes, repair costs and fatal crashes.

Only four states in the U.S. came in worse than we did. Louisiana topped the list, followed in order by California, Texas, Maryland. The Garden State ranked 5th worst for driving in the whole country.

Those lucky folks in Idaho drive in the state considered the best for driving, followed by Vermont, Wyoming, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
