This NJ snack company just bought some major brand names.

The Ferrero Group which manufactures Ferrero Rocher and other huge name products has acquired Girl Scout Cookies, Famous Amos, Keebler and other large brands from Kellogg in a $1.3 billion deal.

Okay ... I legit am getting a serious sweet tooth now.

The huge deal is set to be completed by The Ferrero Group and Kellogg Company this July.

"This divestiture is yet another action we have taken to reshape and focus our portfolio, which will lead to reduced complexity, more targeted investment, and better growth," said Steve Cahillane, Kellogg's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer via kelloggcompany.com.

Seems like it should be a good deal for both the snack companies to grow there brands accordingly.

I'm totally here for it ... as long as they don't take my favorites off the shelf.
