NJ Police to Run DWI Checkpoint at PNC Bank Arts Center Thursday

Florida Georgia Line and Dan + Shay are playing PNC Bank Arts Center on Thursday. In an effort to crack down on drunk driving and make our roads safer, State Police are planning a DWI checkpoint at the venue.

Officers will be looking for signs of impairment due to alcohol and or drugs. Anyone planning on drinking at the concert should plan on having a designated driver, using a rideshare app, or taking public transportation.

Police have not specified whether the checkpoint will occur before, during, or after the concert, so be smart! The show is set to begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Remember, if you see someone driving dangerously and putting yourself or others at risk, please safely dial #77 and report them to the State Police. Please have the license plate and details of the vehicle ready.
