We've all heard rumblings about a winter storm this week, but will we have any chance of breaking a New Jersey weather record with our next big storm?

You can always stay up to date on the latest forecast for New Jersey from our Chief Meteorologist Dan Zarrow, and you should, but what if everything breaks in the wrong direction one day this month, and we get a big storm?

We hope that doesn't happen, but if the snow starts piling up in the Garden State, we wanted to know how much snow would have to fall for us to break a record.

After a little research, we uncovered the 10 biggest New Jersey snowfall totals on the website Stacker, and we wanted to share them with you.

Here are some statistics about the findings. We're not going to break into the top 10 biggest snowfalls unless our totals reach over 20 inches.

Also, most of the bug storms happen in North Jersey and away from the coast, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.
