More and more New Jersey residents are reporting UAP sightings. These unidentified aerial phenomena sightings might be closer to where you live than you think.

UAPs, or as they were known for years, UFOs are nothing new to New Jersey. The Garden State has been famous for sightings since the early UFO sighting days.

The History Of UFOs In New Jersey

We have heard about sightings since the spaceships of Orson Welles's fictitious War of the Worlds landed in Grover's Mill in 1938.

However, many of the sightings by New Jersey residents over the years, have been all too real to Garden State residents.

We frequently check the National UFO Reporting Center website, a site dedicated to allowing people all over the country to report their sightings, and there have been some recent additions to the list.

Recent UFO Sightings In New Jersey

For instance, a resident reported this sighting over North Brunswick just this past June 28th, and the details might get your attention.

Heard commercial plane overhead. Saw white sphere flying near plane. Sphere hovered/loitered ~10 seconds, then zoomed off & disappeared

This incident reportedly occurred at 11:05 AM, and the column labeled "Explanation" remains blank.

New Jersey Unexplained Aerial Phenomena

On June 15 of this year, over Mount Laurel, a witness described an object in the sky as follows.

NJ Turnpike near mile marker 44. Saw metallic/silver/chrome sphere-like object. Completely stationary. after 30 secs, disappeared

Two hours earlier on June 15 in West Milford,

Saw a large disk hovering -flying over the mountain top really close to the tree line and went up and over bearfort mountain.

In all, there have been seven reported UFO or UAP sightings in the skies over New Jersey since June 1, and that's just to this particular website.
