Nominees Announced for 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction

The nominations are out for this year's class of inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and some legendary artists have been nominated...and snubbed!

The list includes 14 artists:

• Nirvana
• LL Cool J
• Kiss
• Peter Gabriel
• Hall and Oates
• Linda Ronstadt
• Cat Stevens
• Yes
• The Replacements
• Chic
• Deep Purple
• N.W.A
• The Zombies
• Link Wray
• The Meters
• Paul Butterfield Blues Band

Snubbed yet again? That would be Jersey's own, Bon Jovi.

I'll be honest, I haven't heard of the last three artists on the list of nominees...I'm not sure what that says about me as a radio DJ. Sorry!

Fans have a (small) say in who will be inducted. Votes will be tallied online, and "the top five artists, as selected by the public, will comprise a 'fans’ ballot' that will be tallied along with the other ballots to choose the 2014 inductees, who will be announced soon."
