Toms River Police are asking for the public's help in locating the driver of a motorcycle who seriously damaged another car, then just drove away.

It happened at approximately 7:40 on the night of Thursday, October 8th in the parking lot of Ocean County College.

Luckily, the entire incident was caught on film thanks to a dash cam installed in a nearby car. The video has since been shared on Facebook by the victim, Chelsea Niestemski, in the hopes that someone will come forward and the motorcyclist can be held responsible.

On Thursday night 10/8/2015, my car was involved in a hit and run by a motorcycle in the OCC parking lot. Thankfully somebody caught a video of the whole thing. If anybody has any information, please come forward. My car is pretty damaged. Thank you. Please share this.

TRPD says it was a dark colored sport bike with two blue neon LED strands under the rear fender. The driver was wearing a white or light colored helmet, dark jacket/sweatshirt, and jeans.

If you have any information on the crash or the driver involved, you are asked to contact Officer Justin Lammer at 732-349-0150 ext. 1407. You can also submit information anonymously.

Considering you can clearly see someone walk up to that motorcyclist before he drives away, someone knows something.

You wouldn't want this to happen to you. Do the right thing.
