Ocean County, NJ Dominates A List Of Best Attractions In The State

Living in Ocean County comes with a great sense of pride. We love our county and the people in it. And now Ocean County attractions are getting their well-deserved praise.

A list of the top attractions in New Jersey was released by Busy Tourist, and when it comes to the top 30 on that list, no county was more well-represented than Ocean County.

And Ocean County is the home to the attraction that holds the honor of being named the best attraction in the Garden State in this article.

Let's take a look at some of the Ocean County attractions that made the list, and there were a lot of them. As a matter of fact, Ocean County attractions appear 6 times in the top 30 on the list.

Now, I'm no math whiz, but that number represents 20% of that list, and that's pretty impressive for Ocean County.

Let's take a look at the attractions that made the list.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws. It's always a great night of family fun at the ballpark when you're watching a Jersey Shore Blueclaws game. The Lakewood attraction is #30 on the list.

Seaside Heights. The fun of the rides and the excitement of the boardwalk, and of course, the amazing beaches. Who doesn't love Seaside Heights? it's on the list at # 27.

Jenkinson's Boardwalk. You knew it was coming, right. With an amazing aquarium and that incredible boardwalk with all the great rides, you knew it would be on the list. And it is at # 25.

Tuckerton Seaport. What an absolutely great little spot this is with a lot of history and a lot of beauty. It comes in on this list at #20. And it's a great way to kick off the top 20.

Barnegat Lighthouse State Park. An absolutely beautiful landmark spot, and certainly deserving of making this list. Any day you can be on LBI is a good day, as far as we're concerned. It's in at # 19.

Beaches. The whole state gets credit for the beaches, but we're going to give the credit to Ocean County on this one. We love our beaches and we're so proud of them, it's ok if we take some liberties here. beaches hold the #14 spot.

Six Flags Great Adventure. Our next stop on this journey on the New Jersey attractions ladder is the #1 spot, the top attraction in New Jersey, and it belongs to Six Flags Great Adventure. No surprise here. Congratulations.
