New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal will be joining Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer at Lakewood High School, 855 Somerset Avenue, for a special town hall meeting featuring a discussion on the Attorney General’s Immigrant Trust Directive and Bias Intimidation on Tuesday, March 5 at 6:00 pm.

Attorney General Grewal, Prosecutor Billhimer and Lakewood Patrolman Alex Guzman will present a power point presentation regarding the Attorney General’s Immigrant Trust Directive.

Billhimer says the goal of this presentation is to strengthen relationships between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve – and to address areas of concern before conflicts arise.

There will be a short break and starting at 7:00 p.m., there will be another power point presentation by Ocean County Assistant Prosecutor Alyssa Mandara regarding bias and intimidation crimes.

This second presentation will detail what constitutes a bias/intimidation crime, what to do if you’re a victim or witness of a bias/intimidation crime, and how to report a bias/intimidation Crime.

Lakewood Schools Superintendent Laura Winters, Lakewood Police Chief Gregory H. Meyer, and Ocean County Sheriff Michael Mastronardy will also be present.
