Ocean Grove Serving Free Meals Wednesday

The town has been working on this event for a while, and it's finally come together, and if enough people donate, hopefully they can have more of these!

Ocean Grove Area Dish, in partnership with the Ocean Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, is providing meals for those in need today, Wednesday, May 27th, from 2:30 - 3:30 pm at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (south entrance) at 66 S. Main St. in Ocean Grove (the building near the north 'entrance' to OG.)

These months have been difficult for so many. Local businesses are suffering with restrictions that may not end in time for a profitable summer season. With residents suffering to find nutritous food online, this may be the first of what could be more initiatives to help feed those in need in our area.

These meals will be provided to anyone in need. No one will be turned away. You don't need to do anything to qualify. The meals are for pick up, and you can also pick up for your friends and neighbors as well, up to 4 meals per person.

The meals are being provided by these Ocean Grove restaurants: SeaGrass, Starving Artist, Tino's Artisan Pizza Co., and Burbelmaiers through donations that have been received to fund the meals.

The Ocean Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit that was able to collect the donations and make the payments directly to these eateries.
