Ocean Police arrest a pair in possession of heroin behind Tower Motel
Ocean Township Police have arrested a Middletown woman and a Lakewood man after finding them in possession of heroin behind the Tower Motel on Route 35.
Officers responded to the parking lot of the motel on April 12 around 1:30 am for a suspicious persons complaint.
The accused, Erin Sullivan, 36, and Derek Fix, 27, were quickly found and officers began to speak to them about their behavior.
Police found Derek in possession of Heroin, a syringe and other drug paraphernalia.
Further investigation revealed that when officers arrived on scene, Erin tried to destroy evidence by throwing it behind the Motel.
Officers searched the area and recovered several bags of Heroin, Syringes and prescription legend narcotics from behind the Motel.
Sullivan and Fix were placed under arrest, processed and released on a criminal summons pending a future court appearance.
They're both charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession of Hypodermic Syringe, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Under the Influence of CDS and Tampering with Evidence.
