Our Favorite Monmouth County Beaches According To You

There was quite a controversy last week when a list ranking NJ beaches placed many of our favorite Monmouth County beaches far down the list.

So after surveying our Point listeners, here are the top 5 favorite beaches at the Jersey Shore from Sandy Hook to Manasquan:

#5: Manasquan

#4: Ocean Grove

#3: Sea Girt

#2: Avon

#1: Belmar

Honorable mentions go to Bradley Beach, Spring Lake, and Asbury Park, which came close in this survey.

In the survey we protested from NJ.com, which ranked beaches throughout the entire state along the coast, here's where our favorite Monmouth County beaches ranked:

#25: Sea Girt

#3: Manasquan (at least they got that one right!)

#19: Ocean Grove

#13: Avon

#18: Belmar

So I am happy to single out Monmouth County beaches and show them our love :)
