So many of us know that if there is a sharp edge or a hard surface in your house, a child will find it, and usually fall on it or fall near it.

I am a worrier. That's just who I am. I've always been one and I've never apologized for it. But one thing is for sure. I went way overboard, and I mean way overboard when it came to child proofing my home for my grandson Jonathan.

And I don't mean a little. Not by a long shot. In making sure no damage was done to my grandson while he played, I may have done some damage to my actual home. Let me illustrate what I'm talking about.

Yes, I was way over the top. Yes, he would have been fine without all this stuff. Yes kids get boo boos, and that''s ok. But I just didn't want it to happen on my watch. The words of a true over protector.
