A recall was voluntarily announced by nSpired Natural Foods after it was discovered that specific lots of peanut and almond butters may potentially be contaminated with salmonella.

The recall covers certain lots of of Arrowhead Mills, MaraNatha, and generic Trader Joe's and Whole Foods 365 nut butters.

The affected lots were sold in retail stores and online.

Check for the item name, unit UPC, and 'Best By' dates on the recall list. If you have one of the listed products, you should dispose of it, and call nSpired at 1 (800) 937-7008 between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM for a replacement or refund.
